Your first Delta Reign prerelease: 40 cards, four Prizes, two dates

Plan the store visit around the official UK announcement, then keep MEP promos separate from familiar Magmortar printings.

Actual card comparison: Your first Delta Reign prerelease: 40 cards, four Prizes, two dates
AI-created TCGIndex explanatory artwork, not real cards or packaging. Dates and contents follow Pokémon’s UK announcement; confirm your region and store.

A prerelease is earlier than the expansion launch

Pokémon’s UK announcement places selected stores’ Delta Reign Build & Battle availability and prereleases from October 24, 2026. The expansion follows on November 6. These are two separate milestones. Confirm your chosen store’s session and local availability before travelling; the UK announcement does not establish a Korean event or a universal store timetable.

Prepare for a smaller table

The announced format uses a 40-card deck and four Prize cards, compared with the usual 60 and six. The Build & Battle Box lists a 40-card deck plus four booster packs. Those figures describe different parts of the experience: four packs do not promise all four promo designs. Use the event’s instructions when building and playing.

Match the promo number before the market reference

The official preview labels are Masquerain MEP 111, Magmortar MEP 112, Enamorus MEP 113 and Kommo-o MEP 114. TCGIndex separately records older Magmortar cards numbered 27/102 and GG03/GG70. A shared Pokémon name does not identify the same collectible. Compare the printed number, language, artwork and finish first. We have not established a verified trading price for the prerelease promos and do not attach an older card’s price to them.

Make one useful note for your visit

Ask whether the store is participating, how to book its actual session, and what the entry fee includes. Save the organiser’s link and the date you checked it. For a first visit, also ask what Energy cards or basic supplies you should bring. Keep collection notes about the card you receive separate from attendance notes, and use the organiser or judge for event-specific rules.

Try it yourself

  • Separate October 24 prereleases from the November 6 launch
  • Confirm local participation, session times and booking
  • Keep the 40-card deck, four Prizes and four packs distinct
  • Read MEP 111–114 rather than matching a name alone
  • Ask about entry contents, supplies and rewards
