The Labyrinth is a name clue, not a printing match

Start with Maze of Ith, then identify the Secret Lair printing before choosing a price reference.

Actual card comparison: The Labyrinth is a name clue, not a printing match

Keep the original name beside the themed title

Our October 12 check of Google Trends’ worldwide past-month comparison showed ‘magic the gathering labyrinth’ among rising queries. Wizards identifies The Labyrinth as a foil Maze of Ith promo in its Corn Maze announcement. Keeping both names in your collection notes gives you two useful lookup paths: the themed title and the established card name.

A name match opens the search; it does not finish it

Today’s live catalogue check found separate Maze of Ith records for From the Vault: Realms (v12, 10), Judge Gift Cards 2009 (g09, 2) and The Dark (drk, 117). Those records do not identify the new promo. Compare product attribution, full collector number, printed language, artwork and finish before picking a reference. Do not fill an unverified promo number or price with a convenient older printing.

Regional interest and current availability are separate questions

Naver DataLab’s Korean-keyword comparison for September 11–October 11 was led by Pokémon cards, with Magic much lower. That differs from our English-keyword Google comparison and helps explain why readers arrive with different questions. Neither chart measures completed sales. The announcement lists October 12; the US storefront still showed Coming Soon when checked early that morning in Korea. That does not establish availability or delivery terms in another country.

Leave the price blank until the printing is clear

We have not verified a current trading price for this new promo and do not reuse an older Maze of Ith price. When inspecting a listing, keep front photographs together with language, finish, condition, source and check date. A short record of why two printings match is more useful than a number attached to the wrong card.
