A small prize pack changes the November visit
Japan’s Pokémon Card Gyms get a new reason to look inside a prize envelope. Announced October 16, MEGA-series Promo Card Pack Vol. 6 begins distribution November 1. Mega Heatran ex and a freshly illustrated Gastly offer two collector stories: a new card to discover and a familiar Pokémon to see again.
One envelope, one card from seven
The official wrapper says one random card, seven types and not for sale. Entry does not guarantee the Heatran you want. That leaves a collector choice: chase one illustration, or keep the pack as a memory of playing at a shop. Check the participating shop’s event and stock conditions before making plans.
Remember 169/M-P, not just Heatran
The verified Japanese Mega Heatran ex promo is 169/M-P with 300 HP. It is a new card. Its number, Japanese text and Gym mark distinguish this exact object from other Heatran releases. Our reading is that this gives the binder a more useful story than treating every same-name card as interchangeable.
Gastly offers the art collector a different choice
Japanese Gastly 168/M-P receives a new illustration. Collectors can enjoy an image without needing a tournament verdict. A real October 16 reply in Elite Fourum’s announcement thread praised the included Golett art instead. That is one participant’s taste, not evidence of broad demand or a rising price. The set invites different favorites.
Choose the story before choosing a price
As checked October 18, we have no verified singles price for either Japanese promo here. Price unconfirmed. We have not filled that gap with an estimate, profit claim or box expectation. Decide what you enjoy, then compare numbered copies and conditions after distribution. This Japanese notice does not establish an equivalent Korean or English release.
Official notice and the reaction we checked
Checked October 18, 2026 against the official Japanese October 16 announcement and original card images. These are Japanese Gym-stamped promos. Finish, individual-copy condition, grade and verified singles prices remain unconfirmed. Prizes are limited and may change. The linked Elite Fourum announcement and reply are a specific observation; we did not claim measured popularity, price movement, Google Trends or Naver DataLab results.
