Inside Heopop’s Card Box: Detective Pikachu and Rocket’s Zapdos in the ₩20,000 Group

Two verified Korean cards in Heopop’s collection-sorting video: Detective Pikachu at 8:53 and 25th Anniversary Rocket’s Zapdos at 9:05. A current asking price and an October 29 trade share a number, but not a meaning.

An old collection, rather than a fresh booster chase

Heopop’s October 19 video opens a storage box and sorts his Korean Pokémon cards. Its title asks what cards kept over ten years might be worth now. We followed two moments in the later ₩20,000 group: a familiar movie face and a commemorative Zapdos. The pleasure is the change from recognition to noticing a particular printing, rather than treating the video as a list of new booster pulls.

8:53: Detective Pikachu, three times

The Korean card’s HP90, movie artwork and Brilliant Deduction text match the official SM P2 014/024 U printing. Three copies appear in the video; that does not establish three completed sales. On November 3, the matching Korean KREAM product displayed one Ungraded A asking offer at KRW20,000. That is an ask, not a trade. The video copy’s condition, grading status and precise finish remain unverified.

9:05: the anniversary mark matters

The close-up shows Korean Rocket’s Zapdos, HP70, Plasma, Electroburn and the 25th Anniversary mark on a reflective surface. These identify the S8a-P 008/025 printing, distinct from 033/098 in the later Team Rocket set. KREAM’s KRW20,000 entry checked on November 3 is an Ungraded A trade dated October 29, 2026. It is neither a November 3 trade nor a verified current asking offer. We cannot grade Heopop’s copy from the video.

An equal number does not make an equal observation

The yellow ₩20,000 note belongs to the creator’s sorting scene. Our later checks happen to show the same number for an asking offer and a past sale, but that is not a basis for adding up today’s cash value. The cards make a more interesting pair as objects: one preserves a movie character’s expression, while the other revisits an older picture through anniversary treatment. That contrast is why we chose these moments.

The card he keeps apart

These two cards are not the video’s final reveal or a complete inventory. Later, Heopop discusses a Mew he keeps because he likes its appearance, without knowing its price. That context matters: the story also contains attachment that is not reduced to a price group. Nor does the title mean every card shown was printed ten years ago. Follow the matching Korean details, check the source date, and save the card that interests you.

What we checked

Content checked November 3, 2026: actual 0:00, 8:53 and 9:05 frames, the public video description and captions, the official card reference and matching Korean product pages. Prices use the Korean market and KRW. We excluded the separate English BRG 9 options, preserved the trade’s October 29 date and did not calculate box returns. The stills show actual footage, not an AI recreation of the creator’s actions.
