Deploy in Riftbound: why the Bomb token belongs on a battlefield

Read Radiance's Deploy and Bomb through the official preview cards, with the exact card identifiers and a practical checklist for your next deck.

Actual card comparison: Deploy in Riftbound: why the Bomb token belongs on a battlefield
AI-edited composition using Riot's official Dockside Lock-Up and Bomb previews. Consult the linked original cards for exact rules text.

Deploy changes where Gear lives

Radiance's Deploy Gear is played only to a battlefield. If an opponent holds that battlefield, the Gear is killed. Position matters alongside the benefit printed on the card.

Bomb is Token Gear

The previewed Bomb combines Deploy with Deathknell. Its death effect deals 2 to an enemy unit at that location and kills your other Bombs there. For detailed timing questions, consult current official rules or your event judge.

Check these two identifiers

Dockside Lock-Up is RAD 136/167; Bomb is RAD T02. Both preview images are in English. Riot lists October 23 for the English, French and Chinese Radiance release; that does not establish a Korean-language launch date.

Try a quick board-reading exercise

Before building around a preview, mark the card type and the location each instruction refers to. Then separate what survives from what disappears when control changes. This is a rules introduction, not a price forecast: a newly revealed card does not yet establish a reliable market value.
