A New Wave of Z: Three Mega Pokémon Give Hadou Seeker Its First Stories

Japan announced Hadou Seeker on 23 October. Meet the verified 057/078, 067/078 and 030/078 previews ahead of 27 November, without inventing international dates or single-card prices.

A familiar name, with one new letter

The letter Z changes what a collector should look for. Japan's Pokémon Card Game site announced ハドウシーカー on 23 October, showing Mega Lucario Z ex, Mega Garchomp Z ex and Mega Absol Z ex. Hadou Seeker is the romanized Japanese title used here. These previews invite a fresh look at the complete name, artwork and collector number rather than assuming a new finish of a card already in the binder.

Lucario reaches for a Supporter

The Japanese preview is M7 057/078 RR. Its printed Ability lets you find and reveal a Supporter once during your turn while this Pokémon is in the Active Spot, put it into your hand, then shuffle. That connects the expansion's theme to a concrete card action. For collectors, the immediate change is a distinct name and numbered artwork; competitive strength still needs more context than a preview.

Garchomp and Absol take different routes

M7 067/078 RR, Mega Garchomp Z ex, has an attack that scales with Dragon Pokémon in the discard pile. Mega Absol Z ex, M7 030/078 RR, attacks while restricting the opponent's Special Energy and Stadium plays from hand during the following turn. One turns discarded Dragons into pressure; the other interrupts the next setup. Those different stories make the Z trio more than a shared label.

The verified price is for a pack

Japan lists a 27 November 2026 release, five randomly packed cards and a tax-inclusive suggested price of ¥200 per pack. That is a Japanese product price. We have not verified current single-card offers, completed transactions or TCGIndex quotes for these previews. The shown RR cards do not establish unrevealed premium rarities, and this announcement does not confirm English or Korean product names or release dates.

From an old question to an actual card

A small Pokekun discussion on 10 March speculated about Lucario and Z Mega Evolutions after trademark news. It is historical community context, not a measure of current popularity. Now the official names, illustrations and numbers can be checked. Our reading is that collectors can refine their wish lists; it is not a price forecast or a claim that demand has risen.

Which Z earns a future binder slot?

A Supporter-seeking Lucario, a discard-fuelled Garchomp, or a disruptive Absol: which story would you follow? Open the Japanese source and compare the actual preview before tracking a future printing. Sources and images were checked on 24 October 2026 KST. Any later language edition or premium artwork needs its own verification.
