Korea’s Egghead opening weekend has two clocks

Korean-language ONE PIECE collectors get EGGHEAD CRISIS on Friday, October 23. The official EBK-04 product artwork puts Jewelry Bonney and Kuma at the center, with a new Bonney leader among the previews. An October 19 organizer notice adds a second date to that release story. Opening a fresh pack and taking its new cards into certain competitive events will follow different calendars. This article concerns the Korean release and Korean organizer notice.

New numbers wait through October 29 at the named events

The notice excludes newly numbered EBK-04 cards from Flagship Battle and Championship Season 2 store qualifiers through Thursday, October 29, citing chapter 5 of the floor rules. Its wording names both the cards and the events. It does not prohibit collecting the product or establish a universal ban for every format and gathering. For events from October 30 onward, collectors who also play should still check the current event notice and any other applicable restrictions.

Bonney gives the binder a concrete starting point

The Korean product preview shows Jewelry Bonney EB04-001 in two illustrations. Both carry the red/yellow leader identity and four life; the printed text includes an opponent-turn power boost when the controller has very little life left. That creates two different collector questions: which artwork belongs in your binder, and which new leader belongs in a deck? A shared number does not make distinct illustrated printings interchangeable for valuation. We have not verified a current Korean single-card price for this unreleased product, so no Japanese or alternate-printing quote is substituted.

The Korean MSRP is KRW 2,000 per pack or KRW 48,000 per 24-pack box, with six cards in a pack. The official product page lists 67 types plus one and notes parallel cards. Those product counts do not establish the odds of pulling a particular parallel or a box’s expected return. Collecting Bonney illustrations, building an Egghead character page and finding a new deck’s essential numbers are different ways to approach the same release.

In the actual October 2 Korean community announcement thread, we saw appreciation for the extra booster and discussion of the rarity lineup. That small sample is a reaction, not proof of market-wide demand or a price move. The concrete change today is the Korean organizer’s new-number event timetable. Pick the artwork you want to keep, then check the competition date before putting new cards in a tournament deck. The official notices and TCGIndex’s ONE PIECE browsing page are linked below.

Sources, verification and price basis

Checked October 20, 2026, Korean time. Official release timing, named-event new-number restrictions and source product/card previews were reviewed. Single-card prices, pull rates and market moves are unconfirmed. The linked community thread is a limited reaction sample, not a market trend.
