Robin by her right name: what the EB05-033 errata changes for collectors

Bandai corrected O-Robi to Nico Robin on EB05-033. Here is the specific printing, the alternate-art scope, and what the notice does not establish about supply or price.

A card can acquire a history before release

A name line is enough to change the story in a binder. Bandai’s October 23 English notice corrects EB05-033 from O-Robi to Nico Robin. For collectors, the useful first question is which card the notice identifies and how to describe the copy in front of you. An errata is a documented part of that history; it is not evidence of an instant collectible premium.

Start with EB05-033, not just Robin

The corrected official list shows Nico Robin, a purple Character with rarity R and number EB05-033. The notice illustrates the earlier O-Robi name. That shared number makes the comparison specific. EB05-010 and EB05-016 are other Robin cards in the set, not interchangeable entries for this correction. A search by character name alone can therefore put the wrong printing into a collection record.

Alternate art is covered; availability is still limited

Bandai explicitly includes alternate-art cards in the correction and says corrected cards will not be available in some regions. The notice does not name a universal exchange program, quantities, or a worldwide reprint promise. Those limits matter when a listing describes an error card. Compare the actual name line and full number before assigning a variant or a premium.

Players are asking about names and effects

In the community discussion we checked, readers raised name-dependent interactions. One proposed interaction was amended after its turn condition was reread. That is a small, identifiable reaction, not a measure of demand. It also illustrates why an official correction and a player’s interpretation should remain separate in a collector’s notes.

A pack MSRP is not a Robin quote

The English EB05 product page lists October 30, 2026 and a USD 4.99 pack MSRP. Neither establishes the value of this single or a Korean-language release. Checked October 25, we could not establish a verified TCGIndex single-card quote and exact condition/finish listing for EB05-033. Its current price remains unverified here. Keep the official notice beside the number, then match future market evidence to the actual copy.
